Castello 925 presents “Martin Weinstein · Dentro | Fuori” in the 780 project space located at Fondamenta San Giuseppe, 780 in Venice Italy. This solo exhibition of the artist’s most recent dimensional paintings on multiple acrylic sheets is of views of Venice – both exterior, with its magnificent canals and architecture juxtaposed with interior studies of elegant Italian domesticity. Weinstein’s unique practice of painting on flat transparent layers that are re-assembled inside of a clear enclosure, creates a deep and infinitely shifting space. In Dentro | Fuori, Martin continues to play with perception as he reshuffles his painted panels, inventing dimensional and temporal ambiguities.

Martin Weinstein · Dentro | Fuori opens with an artist’s reception on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and remains on view through November 24, 2024.

In his extensive career, Martin Weinstein has had over 75 solo and curated group exhibitions at galleries and museums both nationally and abroad.  including the MacNider Art Museum, Hillstrom Museum of Art, Museum of the Southwest, Wichita Art Museum, Swarthmore College, and most recently at The Parthenon Museum, Nashville, TN.
