Douglas Flanders & Associates is the oldest art gallery in the Twin Cities, established in 1972. We have one of the largest artwork collections in the region with over 15,000 pieces, which can be seen in our galleries or online. Our goal is to provide custom, tasteful artwork that complements a home in a balanced way as to maximize the aesthetic of a space and budget.
We have placed works with museums, corporations, and collectors, not only in the area, but also across the globe. More than 500 museum quality exhibitions have been produced by the Flanders Galleries over the years. Flanders offers works of art of many different schools; Old Master, French and American Impressionism, Cubism, Fauvism, Abstract Expressionism, Color Field, POP and Regional. Our specialty stretches from art of the late Nineteenth Century, through Impressionism and Modern Abstraction, and on to the most avant-garde art being produced today. We have shown and placed work by masters such as Pablo Picasso, Albert Bierstadt, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Robert Motherwell, Frank Stella, Helen Frankenthaler, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and others.
DF&A has also supported young contemporary talent around the world and has always made a place for many impressive local area artists. We have one of the largest collections of artwork in the region with hundreds of pieces available for viewing here in the gallery – an invaluable resource that is always changing with new and exciting works. DF&A has contacts and connections that span the entire international scene, so finding just the right artwork at the best price is never a problem.

Consignment and Appraisal
The Gallery is actively seeking to purchase or receive on consignment quality originals and works on paper by Modern and Contemporary Artists. We are pleased to offer an appraisal at no charge for those collectors considering selling works from their collection.
