DESCRIPTION:SHONA Exhibit September 9-24th Bonner David New York.\nNew work by Peter Gwisa & Perlagia Mutyavaviri.\nWhen the effects of Covid-19 first hit\, Zimbabwe had one of the strictest lock downs in the world. With nearly all infrastructure closed\, Perlagia Mutyavaviri and Peter Gwisa quickly adjusted for the sake of their art and continued creating complex\, positive and uplifting sculptures. These third-generation sculptors’ newest works in stone prove that even with the devastation of a world-wide pandemic\, hopefulness and unity will prevail. The optimism of the Zimbabwe people is infectious! Bonner David New York will welcome curator Braden Coolidge and all of you to their debut show on Thursday\, September 9th\, 2021\, from 6-9 pm\, where you\, too\, are invited to view and touch their inspiring new sculptures.

Having trained around the world and received his degree from the Fine Art Academy of Florence\, it is no doubt that Peregrine Heathcote is classically trained and renders among the finest paintings in the world. Collected around the globe\, the pre-war period pieces of Heathcote follow a classical pattern yet have an ethereal quality that places each viewer in happy times gone by. His sense of fashion\, his attention to detail on classic cars\, planes\, trains and ships\, creates a clear narrative of his inspiration. His colorful palette\, his sense of mood is all captured in each of his paintings. Now he’s devoted his time to filling our New York gallery with these sensational paintings on June 3-19. You won’t want to miss this opportunity and witness his latest works.
