DESCRIPTION:The Fairfield University Art Museum will host a panel discussion titled “Cuba Today: Internet access\, El Paquete\, and the New Filmmakers\,” on Friday February 7th from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Gonzaga Auditorium in Gonzaga Hall. \nDiscussion with Panelists: 1 – 2:15 p.m.\nPanelists include: \n\nJavier Labrador Deulofeu\, Cuban Filmmaker\nYaima Pardo\, Cuban Filmmaker and Internet Activist\nJulia Weist\, Artist\n\nCoffee Break: 2:15 – 2:45 p.m. \nFilm Screening: 2:45 – 4 p.m.\n“Selection of Cuban Live Actions Short Films” \nFinally\, the event will conclude with a Roundtable Conversation. \nThis event is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Archives of Consciousness: Six Cuban Artists\, which is on view from January 24 – May 15\, 2020 at the Walsh Gallery. \nRegister on our Eventbrite.
