Etherton Gallery opens an exciting season with Mark Klett: Saguaros and Michael P. Berman: Looking at the Land. The exhibition is a visual dialogue between photographers who reveal the Southwestern landscape as a crossroads for narratives about myth, wilderness and family history. Images by photographer Marcus Xavier Chormicle will be on display In the Cases. Chormicle is a lens-based artist from Las Cruces, New Mexico, whose work focuses on family, memory, and the intersection of class, race, and history in the Southwest.

Mark Klett: Saguaros and Michael P. Berman: Looking at the Land will be on view from September 24 through November 30, 2024, at Etherton Gallery, 340 S. Convent Ave. in the Barrio Viejo neighborhood of downtown Tucson. The gallery will hold an opening reception on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 7-10 PM.
