Painter Keith Jacobshagen is a son of Wichita who achieved rare art-world acclaim. He grew up in Wichita and taught as a faculty artist at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. For decades, any major exhibition on the art of the Midwest and Plains has included Jacobshagen’s hauntingly beautiful landscape painting.
