A Black Perspective

ACA Galleries is pleased to present A Black Perspective, a group exhibition of artworks by prominent African American artists created between 1945 and 2015. Since its inception, ACA Galleries has been committed to showing work by black artists; giving Aaron Douglas, Ernie Crichlow, Barkley Hendricks and Charles White some of their first shows and later representing Benny Andrews, Romare Bearden estate, Richard Mayhew, Faith Ringgold, Aminah Robinson and others.
Drawn from the gallery’s extensive inventory, the show includes Benny Andrews, Romare Bearden, Joseph Delaney, Jacob Lawrence, Richard Mayhew, Faith Ringgold, Aminah Robinson, and Charles White, among others.
This exhibition will travel to the Houston African American Museum of Art and Culture and will be on view May through August, 2021.
