Wichita Art Museum welcomes glass artist Preston Singletary (American Tlingit, born 1963) to discuss his artistic vision and work. Singletary stands apart in the glass art world, combining demanding European glass blowing with new technique and design inspired by Pacific Northwest Tlingit culture.

His work is in the collections of the British Museum in London, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Seattle Art Museum.

The exhibition Preston Singletary: Raven and the Box of Daylight features a dynamic combination of artwork storytelling, and encounter, where the Tlingit story of Raven unfolds. In the story, Raven brings light to people via the stars, moon, and sun. Join us for a special Sunday artist talk and view the spectacular new exhibition.
