Atlantic Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of BRIGHT IMPOSSIBLITY, an immersive exhibition of paintings by Meera Thompson, on view from Tuesday, May 10 through Saturday, May 28, 2022. A reception for the artist will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

Combining ink, gouache, and watercolor on handmade cotton papers, Meera Thompson’s abstractions call attention to their materiality and reveal the artist’s process.  Evoking the passage of time, her works invite us to look beyond their lush surfaces to embrace illusions, prompting us to see the movement of shimmering lights and enveloping shadows.
