At the closing reception of Colleen Franca: “Outside/Inside” on Saturday, June 14, at 3PM, the writers Jennifer Firestone and Thad Rutkowski will read excerpts from their recent work. Jennifer Firestone is the author of five books of poetry, most recently Story by Ugly Duckling Press.  Thad Rutkowski is the author of seven books, most recently Tricks of Light, a poetry collection.

The exhibition features the work of Colleen Franca in her second solo exhibition, on view at Bowery Gallery through June 14, 2025.   As the title suggests, the exhibition features landscapes (outside) and still-lifes (inside). The work summons Franca’s gratifying response to nature.
