Blue Mountain Gallery is pleased to present Gaia Grieves, an exhibition of the paintings of Richard Castellana from September 5 – 30.  This is Castellana’s eighteenth solo show, fourth at the Blue Mountain Gallery, and the first to be devoted to a single theme, the climate crisis. The mostly imaginary paintings include fires, floods, hurricanes, and drought.  Many depict the Dance of Death (Totendanz) for endangered species and humans, notably children – a grim subject with, fortunately, some comic relief.
