Opening Reception: We Got The Power
October 11 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
FreeThe Contemporary Art Modern Project (The CAMP Gallery) is pleased to announce the opening reception of our annual fiber exhibition, 78 Women Pulling at The Threads of Social Discourse, FAMA and Guests: We Got The Power.
The gallery will be hosting an opening reception on Friday, October 11 from 7 to 10 pm. Honoring the play and its era, over 100 pieces were made for the open call, all touching on themes of violence, war, sexual power, the patriarchy, and the power of women. These artworks will be installed as a continuous frieze throughout our gallery space. The exhibition will be open to the public in our Miami gallery beginning October 11 and will run through December 20.
The Contemporary Art Modern Project (The CAMP Gallery)
The Contemporary Art Modern Project Gallery specializes in art advisory and contemporary art with a focus on emerging and mid-career artists working in: installation, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, and video art with a specific direction of both self and worldly reflection. Looking at art, as a whole, through a reactionary and interdisciplinary approach, the gallery covers the ever-populating notion of society and life in general through art and curation, offering a creative space both in the gallery and out—where creativity and reality co-exist.
