Join artist and juror of IPCNY’s current exhibition Give Me Space: New Prints 2020/Summer Chitra Ganesh and scholar Amber Musser for a live conversation.

Ganesh is a Brooklyn-based artist whose practice brings to light narrative representations of femininity, sexuality, and power typically absent from canons of literature, history, and art. Musser is a Professor of American Studies at George Washington University and her research focuses on race, sexuality, and aesthetics. Ganesh and Musser will be in conversation to discuss queer femininity, racial equity, and Chitra’s ongoing practice.

This program is co-hosted by IPCNY and the Leslie Lohman Museum of Art, free and open to the public. Sign language interpreting service will be available. Please feel free to send questions in advance to contact@ipcny.org
