About Sharing the Space:
This exhibition brings together historic landscape paintings from the Byrdcliffe collection, in a dialogue across time with 50 vastly different landscape photographs from 16 contemporary women artists, all sharing the space of the Hudson Valley. Curator Anne Arden McDonald notes: “Throughout time, people have sought solace in nature in search of beauty and quiet, although each generation expresses this desire differently”.
