MIAMI, FL – June 24, 2025. The Contemporary Art Modern Project
announces its next two concurrent exhibitions opening on July 11,
2025 – The Eye, The Lens, The Story a group exhibition featuring
eight artists spanning across the medium of photography, and
Untitled: HerStory, a two person exhibition exploring the untold story
of marriage.
Often we find ourselves trying to capture fleeting moments that
remind us of the beauty in the chaos of living. Spanning across
gallery spaces 791 and 793, our first ever photography exhibition
The Eye, The Lens, The Story features Artists: Xan Padron, RemiJin
Camping, Alice de Kruijs, Carol Erb, Natalie Obermaier, Naomi White,
Marisa S White and Rosana Machado Rodriguez. In this exhibition
the artists use both real and altered depictions of the human body
and of the natural world, to explore themes of existentialism,
transformation, shame, sexual liberation, and the human journey
through the temporal experience of life.
Peeking through from the back of gallery space 791 is Untitled:
HerStory, an exploration into women’s experience of marriage, by
Camille Eskell and Fruma Markowitz. Through incorporating
photography with mixed media and textiles, both artists explore the
personal journey of becoming a bride, taking us through the joys
and the hardships of a journey that does not always end “happily
ever-after.”
Both exhibitions look at photography and its storytelling quality and
ask the viewer to consider how images shape our understanding of
identity, history, and the spaces we inhabit, while also allowing us
to see reflections of ourselves in the stories of others.
The CAMP Gallery is open Tuesday–Saturday, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Private tours of the gallery space can be scheduled by emailing
