Focused on the power of drawing as a vehicle for imagining freedom in the broadest sense, The Pencil Is a Key: Drawings by Incarcerated Artists included over 140 drawings produced over a roughly two-hundred-year period from all around the world. Join us in considering and witnessing a selection of these artists and their drawings.
