The Art Preserve of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center

The Art Preserve houses the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s world-renowned collection of 25,000 individual works of art by more than 30 art-environment builders. It offers unprecedented access and insight into the display, preservation, conservation, and interpretation of artist-built environments. As a platform for ongoing explorations and investigations into art environments and their makers, the Art Preserve is the only museum dedicated to this diverse and multifaceted art form.
