Claiming to have had religious visions as early as age two, Howard Finster lived his entire adult life inspired by directives sent him from God. Leaving the ministry after 40 years, Finster turned a part-time bicycle shop and repairman into a vision of art creation commited to spreading the ministry of God. Transforming a small swampy piece of land into his art studio, Finster named it Paradise Garden, and it was from there that he made a name for himself heeding commands from God and heralding them through his art work.
