During the 80s, she established an art salon in Union Square at the 41 Union Square building, which housed several outstanding artists. In 1987, she opened her first gallery in SoHo just opposite the SoHo Guggenheim Museum. Denise Bibro Fine Art moved to its current Chelsea location in 1997.
