Hammond Harkins Galleries

Contemporary painting, sculpture, and work in mixed mediums by regional, national, and international artists.

About the gallery:

Our goal since the beginning has been to offer the very best in contemporary art in a variety of mediums. We offer works by artists from some of the country’s top art schools, including the Columbus College of Art and Design, The Ohio State University, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Yale University School of Art. We also represent the estates of two of Columbus’ most beloved artists: Dennison Griffith, the former President of the Columbus College of Art and Design, and Aminah Robinson, a recipient of the prestigious MacArthur Foundation Fellows grant. Other Hammond Harkins artists include landscape painter Paul Hamilton, local sculptor James Mason – the creator of Columbus’ famous Topiary Garden – and sculptor Silke Wobst from Dresden, Germany. Our artists are local, national and international in scope and represent a wealth of talent we feel privileged to showcase. We look forward to future exhibits and to serving collectors for years to come.
