Graphicstudio / Institute for Research in Art

Graphicstudio is a university-based atelier engaged in a unique experiment in art and education. Founded in 1968 as a non-profit art making facility, Graphicstudio is committed to research and the application of traditional and new techniques for the production of limited edition prints and sculpture multiples.

Graphicstudio practices classic printmaking techniques including intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, and relief along with photogravure, cyanotype and pigment prints. Sculpture multiples are also very important, including bronze, steel, aluminum, wood, rubber and less traditional materials including lava and pigmented resins.
