School of Visual Arts (SVA) presents “Consuming Entities,”a juried exhibition of multidisciplinary works by SVA students. Organized by SVA Galleries, the exhibition will be on view online from Tuesday, August 3, through Monday, August 23, at galleries.sva.edu.

Artists featured in this exhibition are Flora Bai (MFA Illustration as Visual Essay), Kakei Chong (MFA Design), Yan Jin (MFA Photography, Video and Related Media), Sohee Kim (MFA Fine Arts), Changhe Liu (MFA Photography, Video and Related Media), Mengmeng Ma (MFA Photography, Video and Related Media), Alexander Si (MFA Fine Arts), Xuemeng Zhang (MFA Photography, Video and Related Media).

Juried exhibitions are a way for SVA students to recognize the achievements of their most distinguished classmates. Artists are selected from a large pool of applicants to the annual SVA Galleries call for entries, whose submissions undergo a rigorous examination of presented materials, including documentation of work and artist statements.
