Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries, Northwest Florida State College

2,500 feet of exhibition space, three galleries, 3,500 piece collection.

Mission: MKAC Galleries conducts programs to enhance the educational mission of Northwest Florida State College. Serving as a teaching adjunct to the Department of Art within the college’s Division of Fine, Performing Arts, and Humanities, the galleries organize exhibitions by established national and international artists across styles and media. The MKAC galleries represent a viable cultural asset for the entire campus and its regional community.

MKAC Galleries holds a collection of 4500 objects from antiquity to contemporary, housed in a seven thousand square-foot building at Mattie Kelly Art Center, with 2500 square feet of dedicated year-round gallery space. We offer museum education to K-12 students, community tours and workshops, and a vibrant docent and executive internship program.
