Richmond Art Center

Visual arts showcase and hands-on learning center that gives audiences the opportunity to create, see, and learn about art. Four galleries and a sculpture courtyard with rotating exhibitions of work by emerging and established Bay Area artists.

A stimulating exhibition program explores “Mapping the Uncharted” with Guillermo Gallindo, Mark Garrett, Indira Martina Morre, Lordy Rodriguez, and Diane Rosenblum. Concurrently, a major sculpture exhibition, “Marking Space,” features a deep look at diverse materials in the work of Mari Andrews, Robert Brady, Jann Nunn, Gay Outlaw, Lucy Puls,Tracey Snelling and a newly commissioned installation by Genevieve Hastings.

Opening the Fall Exhibition Season, the Richmond Art Center will mount a survey of works on paper by Joan Brown including many works never before exhibited. Also on view will be “Earth, Wind, and Fire” featuring Chester Arnold, Paul Kos, Clifford Rainey, and other artists reflecting concerns for the environment.
